Processing Times

We typically pull, package, and ship all orders within 24–48 hours, and make every effort to get your order out the door as quickly as possible. If there are any discrepancies or questions about your order, we will reach out to you at the email address you provide in your order.

1. Domestic Shipping (Within Canada)

We offer Free Economy Shipping (7–10 Business Days) with any online purchase over $200 inside Canada. The merchandise subtotal is calculated before sales tax and after discount codes or promotions. If you need your items quicker, feel free to reach out to us about priority shipping costs.

2. USA Shipping

We are happy to serve our neighbors to the south with flat-rate shipping options.

3. Worldwide International Shipping

We love our global community and are thrilled to ship worldwide. We ship to most countries that offer a tracking service for your security and ours. Please contact us if you need further help.

Before placing an international order (including to the USA), please take a moment to review our international shipping policies:

Customs, Duties & Taxes

Once your package leaves our facility, all shipping fees, local customs duties, and import taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • How it works: International packages are subject to customs clearance procedures, which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.

  • Regardless of order value: Customs thresholds vary heavily by country. For example, even if your package has a lower declared value, US Customs or your local transit authority may still assess duties, taxes, and handling fees based on specific item classifications.

Please Note: We highly recommend checking your country’s local customs website before purchasing so you are fully aware of any potential fees when your package arrives.

Refused Packages

If you choose to refuse your delivery to avoid customs fees or taxes, you will be held responsible for the original shipping cost, plus any return shipping fees and penalties incurred to bring the package back to our warehouse. These fees will be deducted from any potential product refund.

Local In-Store & Curbside Pickup

Curbside and In-Store Pickup options are available for local customers. If you are sick, social distancing, or are in a hurry and planning to go fishing, you can place an order online and select "In-Store Pickup" or call in your order.

Steps for Local/In-Store Pickup

  1. Place your order online & select "In-store Pickup" at checkout (or call the shop).

  2. We'll confirm when your order is ready and send you an email.

  3. When you arrive at the shop, show your order confirmation email and ID to one of our associates who will have your order ready and waiting for you.

Steps For Curbside Pickup

  1. Place your order online & select "In-store Pickup" at checkout (or call the shop).

  2. We'll confirm when your order is ready.

  3. Call us when you arrive in the parking lot and someone will bring the order out to your vehicle, allowing you to pick it up without having to come inside the shop.

Returns, Refunds & Price Adjustments

We want your shopping experience to be as smooth as possible. If you decide that your new or unused item is not going to work out, you have up to 14 days to return your purchase.

Return Guidelines

  • All items must be returned in their original condition, including the manufacturer's packaging, tags, documentation, and any accessories.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping and insurance.

  • Sale Priced Items are Final Sale: We do not accept returns or exchanges on discounted merchandise. All sale and promotional items are strictly final sale and non-refundable.

Price Adjustment Policy

  • We cannot price adjust items during our Customer Appreciation or Black Friday sales.

Black Friday & Customer Appreciation Policy Extension

  • Sale priced items are Final Sale.

  • Sales only apply to in-stock items.

  • Items purchased outside of Black Friday cannot be price adjusted.

Booking & Cancellation Policy (Guided Trips & Lessons)

To maintain the highest level of service and ensure our professional guides are fairly compensated for their time, we adhere to the following policy:

Deposits & Transfers

All balances for lessons and deposits for guided trips are non-refundable and non-transferable. When you book a date, that time is reserved exclusively for you, and we begin coordinating logistics to ensure the best experience for our customers.

Guided Trip Cancellations

  • 8+ Days Notice: Cancellations made with more than 8 days' notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Within 7 Days of Trip: Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled date require payment in full.

Why This Matters

Our guiding season is incredibly short, and our team members are often booked months in advance. When a trip is scheduled, our guides commit that day to you and frequently turn down other booking opportunities. Last-minute cancellations significantly impact their livelihood and our ability to manage the season effectively.
