Help Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society - Southern Alberta Chapter by sending a letter to Minister of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO).
The DFO has authorized more than 60 new crossings in the Upper Oldman — including one just one kilometre downstream from Upper Oldman Falls — putting documented critical spawning habitat for threatened bull trout and westslope cutthroat trout at serious and unjustifiable risk. We are calling on DFO and Minister Joanne Thompson to immediately revoke this permit and urge the public to send letters demanding stronger protection for the Upper Oldman and these Species at Risk.
