Nadeau House

Good food, good company, and a view of the setting sun—this is lodge dining at its best.

Primary Species

Atlantic Salmon

Atlantic salmon fishing offers not only the thrill of the catch, but also a deep connection with nature and a sense of heritage, making it a prized species to target for anglers seeking adventure and challenge in unspoiled river environments.

Guests are transported and positioned in time-honoured, pole-driven traditional canoes, offering a classic and immersive way to fish the river while preserving the heritage of this legendary fishery.

Striped Bass

Sight fishing to small pods and massive schools in a pressure-free ecosystem makes this a world-class, little-known fishery. Early season brings tailing and blitzing bass in inches of water; later, large flashing schools offer nonstop sight fishing action.

Guests of Gaspé Coastal target striped bass on the salt flats of Baie des Chaleurs from stable, purpose-built skiff boats, creating a dynamic flats-style experience in a stunning coastal setting.

Sea Run Brook Trout

Fishing for native sea-run brook trout in the Gaspé often takes you deep into the backcountry, exploring remote stretches of water off the beaten path. This experience is not for the faint of heart, but the effort is well worth it- many anglers liken it to the wild, clear water fishing found in New Zealand.
