We're extremely excited to announce that Out Fly Fishing will be hosting two epic nights with our friends from Argentina's Golden Fly Fishing. From fly tying, to empanadas and wine, we're confident you'll have a fun night learning about the infamous Golden Dorado.
Golden Dorado Nights:
We're hosting two nights to make sure everyone has a chance to learn about Argentina and their treasured predator of the Parana River, the Golden Dorado.

About Vittorio
Vittorio Botta's journey into the world of fly fishing began in his youth, guided by his godfather, Julio Riva. Julio, who Vittorio fondly recalls as "the reincarnation of a fish in a man," left a significant mark on the history of golden dorado fishing. As the first to pioneer dry fly fishing in the Paraná River, Julio's exceptional ability to read the river and its surroundings profoundly influenced not only Vittorio but all who followed in his footsteps.
In 2005, Vittorio, alongside his brother Vicente, founded Golden Fly Fishing with a strong commitment to their guests' comfort, enjoyment, and education. Over the years, Vittorio has worn many hats within the lodge: as a chef, he blends family recipes with international flavors to delight his guests; as a guide, he goes above and beyond, even swimming after fish entangled in submerged trees; and as a manager, he ensures every guest's questions are answered, and their experience is unforgettable.
Vittorio's passion for fly fishing, coupled with his dedication to comfort, adventure, and sharing his extensive knowledge, creates a unique and unparalleled experience for his guests. This combination of skills and enthusiasm is what makes Golden Fly Fishing a destination loved by many.
We have been working with Vittorio for many years. It's his first time visiting Canada and we cannot wait for him to share why consider Argentina one of our favorite fly fishing destinations on the planet!
