Golden Mahseer Bhutan Info Night

Want to fly fish for Golden Mahseer in Bhutan?

We’re thrilled to welcome Misty Dhillon from Bhutan to the shop on Thursday, August 21st at 7:30pm for an unforgettable evening. He’ll be sharing stories and details about an extraordinary trip to Bhutan to chase the legendary Golden Mahseer—one of the most prized and powerful fish in the world.

There are journeys, and then there are pilgrimages.

For over two decades, Misty Dhillon has quietly guided a select few into the seldom-seen heart of the Himalayas—across India, Nepal, and Bhutan—where ancient rivers weave through royal histories, where the jungles still belongs to triumphant Bengal tiger, and Himalayan rivers to the illusive Golden Mahseer; a fish that can grow upto 75 lbs.

These expeditions are a confluence of culture, wilderness, and pursuit—steeped in conservation, enriched by the stories of mountain communities, a rich fragile habitat and community initiated ecotourism using angling as a conservation tool.

Opportunities to join are rare by intention. Seasonal, narrow window for fly fishing is April. An invitation not simply to fish, but to become part of a Himalayan fishing adventure few will ever experience.
