Mark was born and raised in Calgary, and was introduced to fly fishing when he was 12 years-old by his parents. Mark always had a love for fishing but didn't truly begin his fly fishing journey till he moved to the East Kootneys when he was 18.

He loves to fish stillwater in mountain lakes targeting large mouth bass on the fly, and fishing chironomids for rainbow trout. After moving back to Calgary, he is now excited to dive head first into fishing rivers hoping to someday head north in pursuit of the arctic grayling.

Excited for his new journey, Mark is pumped to meet like minded people and savour every cast and every fish along the way.
