Susan Smith
Susan fished as a kid with her Dad, and those early memories on the water have always stayed with her. About 2.5 years ago, she picked up fly fishing with her best buddy Kaith (great mentor, am I right?). It must’ve been fate because she started in late winter/early spring—cold hands, frozen feet, slick ice, and snotty noses included. But she stuck with it, and now she’s completely hooked!
Susan loves spending time outdoors on rivers and lakes, but her ultimate fishing day would be bushwhacking into the wild to find those hidden, secluded fishing spots surrounded by animals and the quiet beauty of nature. Her eldest grandson has already caught the fishing bug, and she can’t wait to get the rest of her grandkids hooked, too—so this Nana will always have a fishing buddy to share the adventure with.
